The Rendezvous..... the lodge: The Rendezvous lodge was established in 1973 when Dave Christie bought this unique piece of land. He blasted the site where the lodge stands with dynamite and built the A-frame from the yellow cedars that stood on the property. The name "Rendezvous" comes from the old wooden mission ship that Dave bought and ran trips with during weekends. Nowadays we run a 36' (12 meter) fiberglass ship for our diving trips in the area. Staying with us is a complete dive and nature experience. We often see whales, bears and eagles and we give our guests time to make photos of this great wildlife.
