The Rendezvous..... the lodge:

The Rendezvous lodge was established in 1973 when Dave Christie bought this unique piece of land. He blasted the site where the lodge stands with dynamite and built the A frame from the yellow cedars that stood on the property. De name Rendezvous comes from the old wooden mission ship that Dave bought and ran trip with during weekends. Nowadays we run a 36' (12 meter) fiberglass ship for our diving trips in the area. Staying with us is a complete dive and nature experience. We often see whales, bears and eagles and we give our guest time to make photos of this great wildlife.
Our Facilities MV Rendezvous I
The lodge has 5 double occupancy bedrooms and 2 common bath rooms for our guests. For dive shops and instructors we have a class room that they can use for courses. Other amenities include a hot tub, kayaks, a charging bank, a limited repair facility, and some rental dive gear.

The Rendezvous I is a 36ft (12mtr.) canoe cove boat with twin 260 HP engines. Especially adapted for diving, this boat will be your base for your underwater adventures. It has a fully closed and heated galley and an aluminum covered stern. With a special ladder for easy exit from the water and a swim platform that facilitates easy entry, this boat has all it takes.

Kayaking:

The Rendezvous has 7 kayaks at the disposal of it's guests. Our little fleet consists of  2 double and 5 single person kayaks. They all have PFDs (Personal Floatation Devices). Close to the Rendezvous there are some very nice spots to discover and many of the guests who have stayed here have made some of the best nature and animal observations kayaking through the maze of islands.

Fishing:

The Rendezvous has a strict no taking policy as far as underwater life and objects is concerned. However for the guests that do want to fish we can arrange trips with the local fishing charters. In this manner, it is a very controlled way of taking fish. Rates and availability on request.

Other services
