Port Alberni facts: Take a ride on our historic train to one of the oldest steam driven saw mills
In the Alberni Inlet you may see a number of whales such as Humpback whales, Killer whales, Grey Whales and porpoises
2008 Tall ships (July 11-12) Each 3 years Port Alberni is host to a fantastic tall ship festival. The Rendezvous offers special trips that combine diving with greeting the ships as they come in and out of the inlet. In 2006 one of the tall ships even pulled in at the lodge for some days and offered our guests an unique visit to the ship.
